We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic & creative full-time NPD Technologist. As part of the NPD department, and working for the Head of Creative, this role will involve working closely with our key customers (national retailers) to develop desserts both to brief and using your own creative insight. Experience in recipe and cost development is essential, as is a good knowledge of policies, nutrition & sourcing and adequate kitchen skills, to help enable seeing the product through from concept to delivery. Excellent time management plus the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, both autonomously and as part of a small dedicated team are key to the success of the chosen applicant. We would also look for good communication skills and a love for food. The QA Technicians / Technical Assistants, work alongside the Technical Team, and are responsible whilst on shift for ensuring that all products produced are manufactured to the required customer specification, and that food safety standards are maintained via HACCP/CCP monitoring, auditing and process auditing, including paperwork audits. You will assist in the monitoring of production to ensure that all hygiene and manufacturing standards comply with Marston Foods policy on a daily basis and as part of this will carry out daily HACCP, Hygiene Glass & Plastic audits, ensuring all quality monitoring equipment is within the required calibration and functioning within specified parameters.

This is a vital role where a keen eye for detail and high standards are essential. Full training will be offered for the right candidate. Please email for more information.

All factory based roles (including QA) operate on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, working 12 hour days. If you can only do a few hours each day, then let us know that and we can try and fit you in to suit.
